We're excited to announce that our native QuickBooks integration will be launching in Q1 2026. This has been one of our most requested features, and we've been working closely with Intuit to build a seamless, secure integration that will transform how you manage invoice reconciliation.
What the Integration Will Do
The QuickBooks integration will provide automatic two-way synchronization between MatchRecon and your QuickBooks account. Invoices, bills, purchase orders, payments, and vendor information will sync in real-time, eliminating manual data entry and ensuring both systems are always up to date.
MatchRecon will automatically pull your QuickBooks data for intelligent matching and reconciliation, then push confirmed matches back to QuickBooks with detailed audit trails. This creates a fully automated workflow that saves hours of manual work every week.
Key Features
The integration will support both QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop (via Web Connector). Real-time or scheduled sync options let you choose the frequency that works best for your business. Custom field mapping ensures all your important data flows correctly between systems.
Advanced features include automatic vendor matching using fuzzy logic to handle name variations, support for multiple currencies and international transactions, class and location tracking for detailed reporting, and automatic journal entry creation for reconciled transactions.
Security and Compliance
Security is our top priority. The integration uses OAuth 2.0 authentication, so MatchRecon never stores your QuickBooks password. All data transmission is encrypted using TLS 1.3, and we maintain full audit logs of every sync operation.
The integration is being built to meet SOC 2 Type II compliance requirements and will support role-based access controls to ensure users only see data they're authorized to access.
Pricing and Availability
The QuickBooks integration will be included at no additional cost for all Professional and Business plan subscribers. Starter plan customers can add the integration for just $49 per month.
We'll be launching a limited beta program in February 2026 for customers who want early access. Full general availability is planned for March 2026. If you're interested in joining the beta program, please contact our customer success team.
Getting Ready
To prepare for the integration, ensure your QuickBooks account is up to date and that your vendor master data is clean. Consistent vendor names and complete records will make the initial sync smoother and improve matching accuracy.
We'll be publishing detailed setup guides and best practices as we get closer to launch. Our support team will also be available to help you get connected and optimize your workflow.
What's Next
Following the QuickBooks integration, we're planning integrations with other popular accounting platforms including Xero, Sage, and NetSuite. We're committed to making MatchRecon work seamlessly with the tools you already use.
